We are the ambassadors of Slovenian wine in Berlin.

After almost 20 years in this wild and wonderful city, full of international flair and constant surprises, we realized something important was missing:

Good Slovenian wine.

We were craving the wines we would find so easily back home in Slovenia – their character, their unique taste and complexity.

But getting hold of such wines in Berlin? Either you had to travel across the city, visit an upscale restaurant, or buy a simple wine bottle at a questionable price.

That’s how Swine Wine Club was born.

We began casually opening bottles from Slovenian winemakers we knew or got recommended during our trips back home. With each glass, it became clear: we needed to share this joy and discovery with more wine lovers. We wanted to create a space for peeps to come together, taste amazing, one-of-a-kind wines and also have fun while drinking it.

Why Slovenian wine?

If you don’t know much about our homeland, here’s the short version: Slovenia is a land of outstanding, honest produce – and that includes its wine. Almost every village has a winemaker of world-class quality and people grow up knowing exactly where to find the best bottles.

Buying wine directly from the producer? Totally normal. Having incredible wine with lunch – even on a weekday? Of course. Wine so good you don’t even need a second glass? That’s the standard.

And that’s our mission: no snobbery, no sommelier knowledge required. No hype.

Just expressive, high-quality, small-batch wines from Slovenias family-owned wine yards – carefully crafted and shared in good company, at a fair price.
