We are the ambassadors of Slovenian wine in Berlin.

After almost 20 years in this wild and wonderful city, we realized something was missing: the true soul of Slovenian viticulture. While Berlin’s culinary scene was exploding, Slovenian wine remained an untapped treasure -either completely absent or limited to a handful of upscale restaurants. We decided it was time to change that. Swine Wine Club was born to bring the significant character and complexity of our homeland directly to the tables of Berlin.

The best kept secret in Europe

Slovenia is a tiny country of 2 million people, yet it is home to over 3,000 winemakers. Here, every small village has a producer of the highest quality; wine isn’t just a craft, it is our culture. Today, our winemaking techniques are a result of a massive revolution, with the aim to move away from "the old ways" toward a new era of natural production and modern precision.

When we select the producers we represent, we look for those who embody the high standards of the new Slovenian wave:

• 100% hand-picked: our winemakers reject industrial methods. Every grape is harvested by hand with care. If it’s machine-picked, it doesn’t make it into our portfolio
• small-batch & family-owned: we work with estates that prioritize the craft over the volume, keeping the soul of the vineyard intact
• honest and clean: We champion the producers who respect the land through minimal intervention and natural processes
